In my second last post of the 'difficult ones', I have posted some CTO from Brazil.
A country of which one doesn't expect CTO.
And yet, as you can see, I found a couple of stamps, cancelled by a first day cancel.
However the stamps still have the original gum, and the cancels have all typical characteristics of a CTO-cancel.
Typically is the fact that the cancels are made on stamps that will appear in many thematic collections, (flowers, birds, insects, sports, paintings....) So they get spread worldwide.
More on the American continent :
The islands of Grenada and the Grenadines, appears in every thematic collection.
Nice pictures, stamps on stamps, all possible themes, and due to a lack of postally used items,
CTO to 'please' the collectors.
