Odd stamps : 06 n Stamps on cotton / silk

As this post is my 500th post, I present you a special 'stamp'.
Prince Anton Florian of Liechtenstein
In 1719, Prince Anton Florian (1656-1721) became the first ruling pince of the imperial principality of Liechtenstein. Emperor Charles VI elevated the domains of Schellenberg and Vaduz to the status of imperial immediacy, and thereby ultimately created a sovereign imperial principality of Liechtenstein.

Liechtenstein is, together with Switzerland, one of the two countries in the world with direct democracy. They both use the Swiss Franc as currency and they even shared the same national anthem, based on "God Save the Queen". The Liechtenstein Anthem is sung as "Oben am jungen Rhein" and the Swiss anthem as "Rufst du mein Fatherland", since 1961 "Schweiserpsalm" is used in Switzerland, to avoid confusion.

In 2019, the principality of Liechtenstein, celebrated the 300th anniversary of the country with a woven stamp in the shape of the princely crown.

The stamp was issued in a souvernir folder, with a picture of Prince Anton Florian in the back of the image.
