Currency Today : Venezuela 09

The second series of the Boliváres Fuertes notes, was concluded in December 2017, with a 100 mil (100,000) note.
The note has the same design as the highest note of the first set of notes (2007-2013), but now in new colours.

Although the previous set was taken out of circulation already, you would have needed 1000 of the 100-note, to reach the same amount as this note.
100 mil or 100,000 boliváres fuertes
The 100mil boliváres fuertes note, only has 13 December 2017 on the note itself, but there are (at least) 3 different types.

The types are easy to recognise, as the letter in front of the serial number, also indicates the type.

With the 100,000 boliváres note, the bolivás fuertes series ends.
In January 2018, all notes were replaced for the new currency "boliváres soberanos", but more over this in future posts.
