Commemorative coins of Turkey : 03

I reported previously about Turkish commemorative coins depicting endangered animal.
Today's post is about 2 new coins (dated 2011 - issued 2012).

The first coin bares the image of a bear.
The 'Boz Ayı' is better known as the Brown bear (Grizzly Bear) or Ursus Arctos.
Altough the coins are about endangered or (nearly) extinct animals, the Brown bear is quite common.
He can be found from teh northwestern part of Canada, over Alaska, to the north part of Russia and Finland. But also in the Balcan area, and parts of Turkey.

Max. Issue: 11.000 in Turkey, 4.000 to export

For the second coin, I have a little question:
Does the name "Aslan" rings a bell?
For those who haven't seen 'Narnia' (Narnia, the lion, the witch and the wardrobe), "Aslan" is the son of the Emperor-beyond-the-Sea, and comes from the land or world – its exact nature is unknown – known as Aslan's Country.
Aslan is also a (Turkish) name (derived from Arsaelan, and means 'lion').

You will have discovered now that the second coin in this 2011 set (date on the coin) is about the Asiatic Lion (Panthera leo persica) aka Persian -, Indian - or Eurasian Lion. (Other types of Asiatic Lions are the Arabian Lions and the Bengali Lions).
The "asya aslanı" once lived from the Mediterranean to the northeastern parts of the Indian subcontinent. Now it's a highly endangered animal, with about 500 species left in India.

Sweden : 09b Early issues 1920-34 Standing Lion ( 10 öre and others)

It took me a couple of days to go through my stock of 'standing lion' stamps of Sweden.
At least, after I got a specialised catalogue, before, I had, "one of each", like most collectors.
Now I have "one of each" again, yet there are double as much as before.

Some help on determinating the 10 öre

The 10 öre green has only one version (type 1) - the violet 10 öre, comes in two types (type 1 and type 2)

for the green 10 öre,  there's a coil stamp (perf. 10 vertically) with, and without watermark, and a coil stamp (perf. 13 vertically) with watermark only.
there is also a regular stamp (perf. 10), again with and without watermark
as said, all 10 öre green stamps are type 1

coil stamp (p. 10 v) in pair
The 10 öre violet can be of type 1 or type 2

Type 1 has 4 lines on the tigh of the right leg of the lion
Type 2 has a 5th short line on the tigh

type 1
type 2
This type 1 comes in 2 coil stamps (perf. 10 or 13 vertically), and one regular stamp (perf. 10),
the coil  stamp (perf. 13) can be found with or without watermark.

The type 2 was emitted as a coil stamp (perf. 10 vertically) and can be with or without watermark.
The regular stamp is perforated 10.
Both coil stamp and the regular one were also emitted on white paper.
The coil stamp was also reprinted on white paper, perf. 13 without watermark.
T 1 - coil stamp (p. 10)

T 2 - coil stamp (p. 10) white paper
T 2  - coil stamp (p. 10) tainted paper

T 1 regular stamp (p. 10)

T2 regular stamp (p. 10) white paper
T2 regular stamp (p. 10) tainted paper

Finally, two last issues : 25 öre and 30 öre:

The 25 öre was only emitted as a coil stamp (perf. 10 vertically),
the 30 öre came as a coil stamp (perf. 10) with and without watermark; and as a regular stamp (perf. 10)
Those stamps are all of type 1

Sweden : 09a Early issues 1920-34 Standing Lion ( 5 öre)

From 1920 on, a stamp with a standin lion (stående lejon) was used in several emissions.
Everyone who has a stockbook with swedish stamps will recognise them immediatly.
The stamps look quite simple, and come in 2 basic versions for the 5 öre (orange and green); 2 versions of the 10 öre (green and purple), a 25 öre in orange and again 2 versions of a 30 öre (brown and purple).
Untill I took a specialised catalogue, that kept me busy for days and days :-)

Let's start with the 5 öre green

There are 2 types of that lion, they can be sorted out easily for mint versions, with cancelled stamps it all depends on the place and the heaviness of the cancellation.

Type 1

the bottom line of the top stroke of the 5 goes up slightly

5 öre - type 1
In the leg of the lion, there are 4 lines, the bottom line is longer then the one above.

5 öre - type 1

Type 2

here, the 5 shows two parellel lines

5 öre - type 2
the 4 lines on the lions leg all have the same lenght

5 öre - type 2

Type 1 has a coil stamp (perf. 10) and a normal stamp (perf. 10)
both stamps come with and without watermark

Type 2 has 2 coil stamps (perf. 10 and 13) and a normal stamp (perf. 10)
In type 2, there is a version on white paper (normal stamp and coil stamp too), they were emitted in 1934-36.
here, the coil stamps (perf. 10 and 13) come without watermark on tainted paper and on white paper (1934);
and with watermark on tainted paper only.
the regular stamp (perf. 10) is without watermark, both on tained and on white paper.

Finally, there's also the 5 öre orange :

the two types are the same as in the green version :

type 1 and type 2
5 öre - type 1
5 öre - type 2

there are less subtypes for this issue

In type 1, you will only find a coil stamp (perf. 10), there's a version without and with watermark, and both are on tainted paper.

In type 2, a coil stamp (perf. 10) was emitted with and without watermark, again on tainted paper
the coil stamp (perf. 13) has also a version with and one without watermark, both on tianted paper.

Some examples :

type 1, coil (p 10)
 type 2, coil (p 10) white paper
 type 2, coil (p 10) tainted paper

type 2, normal stamp (p 10) white paper

type 2, normal stamp (p 10 tainted paper)
type 2, coil stamp (p 13) tainted paper

type 1, coil stamp (p 10) tainted paper
type 2, coil stamp (p 10) tainted paper
type 2, coil stamp (p 10) tainted paper

type 2, coil stamp (p 10) tainted paper with watermark + letter T

type 2, coil stamp (p 10) tainted paper with watermark + letter T in pair

type 2, coil stamp (p 10) tainted paper with watermark + letter T in pair
