It has been a while again since I posted some of the amazin notes of Blissdane Naïve.
In the territory of Lothandizia, I already presented 5 countries, and today I will add Romadia to the list.
Romedia in Lothandizia |
The country issued 4 notes, from 100, 200, 500 and 1000 Dureros.
fantasy notes of Romedia |
At first I thought 'durero' is Spanish, but I could not find any other reference to spanish words on the note. But the name 'Romedia' brought me quite quickly to 'Romania'.
Another part of the text confirmed it : "guvernul apreciază această monedă și așa va fi", which means as much as : "the government values this currency and so it will be".
'Dureros' means 'painful' in Romanian language.
At the reverse side, all 4 notes, show a picture of a primate.
reverse side of Romedian notes |
The100 Dureros-note has a picture of a squirrel monkey
The 200 Dureros-note shows a Sri Lankan slender loris
On the 500 Dureros-note, we see a tarsiern (from the Philippines)
And the 1000 Dureros-note has a picture of a lion-tailed macaque (South India)
These 4 notes are notes 124 to 127 issued by Mujand, and are the so-called Serie X
to be continued...
