Between 1962 and 1969, a complete new series was issued.
This beautiful set was made after designs of D.A. Harrington.
Each of the stamps in this set shows an important builing on the Bermuda Islands.

Bermuda : 03 Landscapes 1953 - 1

In 1953, Queen Elisabeth II succeeded the British throne. She became queen of the British Empire, and all countries, colonies and crowncolonies under her reign, had to change the image of King George VI on stamps and coins.

This resulted in a new series of stamps for the Bermuda Islands.
The set I'm showing in this post, was issued between 1953 and 1958.

Bermuda : 02 Landscapes 1938

A year after the first set of Landscape stamps, with King George V, the throne was succeeded by King George VI. The same type of stamps was repeated, but in different colours.

All these stamps were issued between 1938 and 1943.
In 1952 a reprint of the 2 1/2 black/light blue was issued.
