In 1953, Queen Elisabeth II succeeded the British throne. She became queen of the British Empire, and all countries, colonies and crowncolonies under her reign, had to change the image of King George VI on stamps and coins.
This resulted in a new series of stamps for the Bermuda Islands.

1/2 p and 1 1/2 p - Easter Lilies

2 1/2p - Sir George Somers and sailboat "Sea Ventura"
3 p and 1/3 Shilling - Map of Bermuda with SANDY ' S
3 p and 1/3 Shilling - Map of Bermuda with SANDYS (1957)
To be continued ...
